Case Construction products at Rubin

The traditional brand Case Construction Equipment stands for high-quality construction machinery from the United States. The company, headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, was founded in 1842. Case CE is the world's third largest manufacturer of construction equipment such as backhoe loaders, dump trucks, wheel loaders, skid steers, bulldozers, mini excavators, wheeled excavators, crawler excavators and telescopic handlers. The company was founded by Jerome Increase Case. Production of construction equipment began in 1869. At the turn of the century, Jerome I. Case successfully sold threshing machines as tractors and manufactured his first gasoline-powered tractor beginning in 1895. Case was called the "King of Threshing Machines".

An event- and changeful company history

In 1910, the company took over the Pierce Motor Company. A year later, a first petrol-driven automobile was produced. In 1919, Case took over the Grand Detour Plow Company, a manufacturer of plows. Finally, in 1927, Case discontinued its automobile manufacturing operations under the Case Jay-Eye-See Cars brand. A year later, the Canadian agricultural machinery company Massey-Harris reacquired the naming rights to J. I. Case Plow Works and also took over the agricultural machinery divisions of Emerson-Brantingham. Numerous other acquisitions followed, such as that of Rock Island Plow Company in 1937, American Tractor Corporation in 1957 and Kern County Land Company in 1967. Finally, in 1969, the agricultural machinery and construction machinery divisions were separated from each other.

Case Construction - a world-class construction equipment manufacturer

About a century after entering the construction machinery manufacturing business, Case CE took a 40 per cent stake in French excavator manufacturer Poclain in 1977. In 1988, Poclain was taken over completely. Finally, in 1999, Fiat took over Case CE. Under the Fiat Group, Case CE was merged with the agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer New Holland from the town of New Holland in Pennsylvania, which had been taken over shortly before, to form the Case New Holland brand, or CNH Global for short. A sister brand, which mainly produces tractors, has been operating under the name Case IH since 1985. Today, Case Construction is one of the most successful manufacturers of construction machinery in the world. The family of companies continues to grow. New products are constantly being developed. These include the E-Series crawler excavators with very low fuel consumption or the SV-Series backhoe loaders with a completely new design.
Rubin sells original spare parts for the following top-selling Case models, for example:

Case D-Series
Case E-Series
Case G-Series

and other models from the loader, excavator and grader ranges.
