Hamm AG is a specialist for rollers in road construction and earthworks. With a wide product range of single-drum compactors, tandem rollers and pneumatic tyred rollers, Hamm AG offers more than 200 models around the globe. The company, which employs around 1,000 people, can look back on a long history dating back to 1878. Today, the company is based in Tirschenreuth and is the world's largest manufacturer of road rollers. The company's rollers are also used in the area of airports or dams.
Hamm AG designs, produces and sells the construction machinery. In addition to the rollers themselves, the company has created a further mainstay with training courses and further education for employees. Complementary to this, the sale of used machines is part of Hamm AG's business purpose.
In 2017, the main plant was significantly expanded in order to significantly increase production capacities. Approximately 30 million euros were invested in the plant expansion. As a result of this measure, roll production was increased to approximately 12,000 rolls per annum. The investment in the plant has also increased the efficiency of roll production to future-proof the company as an industry leader.
